About Tsiory

Hi I'm Tsiory, a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner from the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA).

I have a culturally diverse background, having grown up in a second-generation immigrant family from Madagascar and lived in 7 different countries around the world: France, UK, Argentina, Switzerland, India, China and South Africa.

Through these experiences, I have seen the shift of attitude towards food in countries at different stage of economic development. I have witnessed different stages of "nutrition transition", the impact of globalisation on diet and the increase in processed and packaged foods as a country gets richer. As a general trend, when life gets better, diet gets worse and diet-related health issues rise.

While living in India I was introduced to Ayurveda, and in China to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Both of these ancient medicine practises treat the body as a whole and place strong importance on diet and lifestyle as preventative measures against illness. This holistic approach really resonated with me and piqued my interest in using food as medicine.

Having lived in some of the major buzzing cities in the world like London and Beijing, I understand how easy it is to feel overwhelmed about nutrition. Life gets busy, quick and convenient food options are omnipresent, health labels are confusing…

Motherhood was the catalyst to learn more about nutrition. I wanted to give the best to my family which meant educating myself on: what should we eat, how is the best way to eat it, and why should we eat it.

If we choose to work together, you will find that I am a good listener. I will take time to learn more about you, and understand your life, history and challenges. I want to help you become the best version of yourself by adding impactful habits.
